After you complete Jira Connect Setup (see Set Up the Connection - General Setup and Mandatory Settings: Checklist), your next possible steps may be as follows:
- Set up the templates for Customers and indicate all the necessary data to avoid errors during the import of projects:
- Use Sync all functionality (import and processing of Issues, Worklogs, Timesheets).
- Use Project Queue (Codeunit 71059608) to schedule Tasks and automate the sync process (if required).
- Use Suggest Billable Lines functionality.
- Start synchronizing one TEST project and find out if the setup is suitable for your needs and the business rules of the invoicing process (after the creation of Customer Project Links for projects you can also mark some projects as Ignored for import for first testing purposes).
