How to set up Unit Cost and Unit Price for the Resource?

Created by GM Support, Modified on Mon, 16 Sep at 6:38 AM by GM Support

1) To calculate the budget for a particular task, go to JIRA Project Task Lines > select the Task Line and click Functions > Update Budget Prices (Note: this works only for the Fixed Price Contract Type!):

Set up the values for Unit Price and Unit Cost to be used for the calculation of the budget for the Task.

2) Alternatively, configure the Unit Price in the Resource Card

or in the Resource Groups > Prices & Discounts > Costs/Prices tabs:

Note: It is necessary that the Resource Group is linked to the Resource (in the Resource Card), for which you would like to set up the Unit Cost and Unit Price.

Also note, that when configuring the Unit Price and Unit Cost as default values for a Resource, no Work Type Code should be indicated in the Resource Prices tab.
