What will happen if I delete Project Journal Lines that were not posted?

If you delete Project Journal Lines for worklogs that were already processed, those worklogs will be lost in the system (“dead“).

To interact with worklogs, for which Project Journal Lines were deleted and not posted, you can use the Restore deleted worklogs function (on the Project Journals page):


 

You can set up the filters for processed worklogs, e.g.

  • Project Key (required)
  • Issue Key
  • Work Date (required)
  • Resource No.
  • etc.

 

The processed worklogs will be searched by the given filters (if they don’t have Project Ledger Entry), and corresponding Project Journal Lines will be created:


 

Note:

If you do not indicate any filter, the Restore deleted worklogs function will start checking all worklogs:
