Using the MS Updates menu, you can manage Microsoft updates and add-on installation and updates for your environments.
MS Updates
Managing Microsoft updates is available from the MS Updates page:
The Major Microsoft updates occur twice a year, whereas Minor updates roll out every month (for details, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/administration/update-rollout-timeline).
To schedule the updates for the required environments, on the MS Updates page, select the environments and click Set Update Date:
Indicate the update date.
Ignore Update Window: Enable this option if you want to set the update outside the Update
Window (configured before). If disabled, the update will run within the set Update Window.
Click OK.
To configure the window within the Update Date, select the environments and click Set Update Window.
Indicate the Start Time and End Time and click OK.
Note: Also see the Time Zones: Practical Points article.
