Permissions
Here all Business Central users are listed along with their roles (User or Admin).
To see all permission sets for a particular user, click on his name.
An Admin can assign/unassign the roles to other Users.
For details on each permission set, go to Actions > View Meta UI Permission Sets:
Meta UI adds the following permission sets to Business Central: META UI USER, META UI ADMIN
The basic META UI USER permission set is required for each user who uses pages with Meta UI view and is automatically added for all existing and new Business Central users. Users with META UI USER permissions do not have access to the Meta UI Administration page and any crucial Meta UI functionality. They are able only to use the extended pages. When a user without the META UI USER permissions tries to open a page with Meta UI view enabled, a standard Business Central view is displayed. The user is notified that respective permissions are missing.
Users with the META UI ADMIN permission set have full access to all Meta UI objects and functionality (i.e. Meta UI Administration page and all pages related to administration).
ID Range
Meta UI generates new extensions based on the information contained within the packages. For each page in the package, a page extension object is generated, which adds or overrides its functionality (after you click Generate and Deploy Extension).
Since each BC object must have its ID, in the ID range you can specify the ID range available for your page extension objects.
It is necessary to specify it because IDs can overlap between different BC extensions, and in order not to occupy free IDs from other extensions, it is possible to narrow the range, available for Meta UI.
