Configurations: Value Providers

Under the Value Providers tab, all BC fields (columns) related to the grid, are contained, along with output types (Output Type) and field numbers (Field No.). Field search is also provided.

In the Custom section, there is an ability to create a new value provider (new column) by adding a formula or using a value from an existing BC page:

Important notes: 

• BC values in the formula must be given in double curly braces, e.g. {{Sales}}. 
• Brackets are allowed for stating mathematical precedence.

After you create a calculated value provider, it is added to the BC Fields list (BC Columns) and can be used just like standard BC value providers in Meta UI (for configuration of columns, styling rules, etc.)
